River Trail - Crooked River State Park

Only a few hundred yards, this short and sweet trail winds along the bluff and down into the marsh. It is an ideal spot for fishing and bird watching. Wood storks and herons roost in the dead pines overlooking the river’s edge. Sheepshead, whiting, trout, black drum, rays, and small sharks can be caught from the shore. This quiet spot overlooks the Crooked River and golden marsh grasses which are famous to Georgia’s Coast.
