This linear park/trail connects by bridge to National Park trails. There are swings and benches along the way.

This alternate route to popular Panther Creek Falls begins near Yonah Dam and treks westbound to the waterfall on a particularly difficult trail.

The Park Street Recreation Area consists of a lighted ballfield, pavilion, basketball courts, walking trails, playground, grills, concession stand and restrooms.

Partin Park has five playing fields with covered bleachers, three concession stands, batting cages complex, skate park, walking trails, four rental buildings, eight playground areas, and nine outdoor pavilions. This is a great place to picnic with the family, exercise, or just take a stroll. The park is also the home of the south’s largest Soapbox Derby and the Real Squeal BBQ and Music Festival.

In addition to a baseball field, 0.7-mile walking/jogging track, playground and pavilion, this 12-acre park includes an outdoor classroom and three observation decks.

PAC has available amenities including 86 acres, 6 rectangular fields, 9 baseball fields (lighted), Field of Hope (lighted), 4 concession stands, 4 restroom buildings, a 3-mile single track Mountain Bike Park and multi-use natural trail system.

This park provides a free, high mobility all-terrain wheelchair by reservation.

58 acres. Seven-field baseball/softball complex, roller hockey rink, free-skate area, pavilions, Medlock Corporate Pavilion, 5,000 sq ft with catering kitchen, pond, 2.4-mile paved multipurpose trail, restrooms, grill.

This neighborhood adjacent park is great for afternoon walks. Picnic tables and green space allow open play and memory making. All gatherings inside the park must be permitted through the City to ensure safety.

The Premier Sports Athletic Complex is located within JC Adams Municipal Park. This complex is a welcomed addition to what is already located at the park – 3 softball fields (Huckaby Softball Complex), soccer field, 2 fish ponds, and park shelter.

This park is best known for a bright, red caboose, donated to the city by CSX Railroad and located on the West side of the park.

Riverside Park is one of Roswell’s river front parks. This park offers access to the Chattahoochee River, a canoe/kayak launch, docks for fishing, a playground, splashpad, picnic areas and access to the Roswell Riverwalk.

A perfect stop for shade or playtime on one of Gainesville’s most popular running and walking corridors. Features a playground, pavilion and fitness equipment.

Features a dog park, community center, historical buildings, a walking trail, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. 

Hiking trail of moderate difficulty provides the only access to Roberts Lake Park, a 45-acre green space along Long Swamp Creek. Long Swamp Creek is open for fishing with a Georgia Fishing License. To access the trailhead, take Roberts Lake Road to the north off Georgia Highway 372 just east of Downtown Ball Ground (near the Wheeler House). Once the pavement on Roberts Lake Road ends, a logging road continues for .25 miles to the trailhead. The logging road only accommodates one-way traffic, so be cautious of other vehicles and at times you may have to pull over and back up to allow others to pass. From the trailhead parking area (marked with signs) the trail runs .7 miles from the parking lot to the dam site.

Home to a Native American mound probably built 2,000 years ago, the Effigy measures 132 feet wing tip to wing tip and 100 feet head to forked tail. Rock Hawk Park offers an outdoor classroom with over 25 miles of hiking and biking trails. Two observation tours give you a bird’s eye view of the Effigy and local wildlife.

Rock Mill Park is a 20-acre park located on Kimball Bridge Road at the access point for Alpharetta’s Big Creek Greenway. Park amenities include a green roof pavilion, an outdoor classroom, a Play Me Again piano art installation, Little Free Library and restroom facilities.
