Little Tallapoosa Park is filled with activities, including camping, hiking, and horseback riding. Campers can enjoy a traditional campground and an RV park. All campsites have a picnic table and a fire ring with grill. The park has 9 miles of nature trails and 2.5 miles of paved trails, and two areas for fishing: a 2-acre pond and a 5-acre lake. The splash pad is a delight for kids and two pavilions are available by reservation.

With the longest paved loop trail in Georgia, the Carrollton Greenbelt has 18 miles of concrete pathways for your walking and biking pleasure. If you love both history and the outdoors, the Carrollton Historic City Cemetery is an interesting setting for scholars and families alike. Enjoy the cultural trails and historic sites commemorating African American and Civil War heritage. Situated on two hilltops in the city, the cemetery is open 7 days a week.
