This well established and easy to traverse trail circles the Murphey Candler Park perimeter and to the lake shore. This 2-mile loop is moderate with little elevation change. A few small sections include rocks and roots, but typically it is hard packed dirt or sidewalk. Sturdily built bridges ford any streams, water or troublesome areas.
