DO IT: Hiking - Rabun Bald Trail

Rabun Bald Trail - near Clayton, GA

This is a 2.9-mile trail leading to the summit of Rabun Bald, which is Georgia’s second-highest peak. The hike up the mountain is steep. There is no parking area; pull off to the side along Hale Ridge Road. Look for trail marker #211 and a hiker sign. The first blaze is green, but a white diamond marks the remaining trail.
