The Suwanee Creek Greenway is a hard-surface, multi-purpose trail that meanders through four miles of wooded areas, wetlands and wildlife habitat. The greenway connects nearly 400 acres of park land as well as residential and commercial areas. Walkers, joggers, bikers, inline skaters and others can access the trail at a variety of locations.

The kids love the large playground with gravity rail swing, shaded sandbox with toys, and more. The park also features multi-purpose sports fields and a 1-mile walking trail with fitness equipment along the path.

Only minutes from downtown Atlanta, a wooded trail follows the stream to the ruins of a textile mill burned during the Civil War. Also fishing, canoeing, and picnicking.

Originally the residence of Rev. & Mrs. Nathaniel Pratt, from 1848. Local clay was used for the bricks, which were hand-molded by slave labor. Now an events facility.

The 2.5-acre site, which contains the nearly 4,000-square-foot, two-story home, dates back to at least the mid-1800s according to local historians.

Thompson’s Tree Farm choose-and-cut trees include: Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Blue Ice, Green Giant and Carolina Sapphire. On any day, your family can enjoy free cider and hot chocolate in the gift shop and feed our pet goats and cows. Hayrides are available on the weekends (weather permitting).

Tarzan ropes, sky bridges, and ziplines, oh my! This environmentally sustainable adventure exhibit is fun for all ages. Learn about protecting the environment as your guides challege you to jump, balance, swing, and zip through the pristine canopy cover of the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center grounds.

Union Hill Park is 13-acre park off Windward Parkway on Union Hill Road. The park’s amenities include an outdoor pop up skate park, as well as a covered roller hockey rink, access to the Big Creek Greenway and concession stand available for rental.

This pocket park features an original stone spring house, a walking trail, and benches.

Part of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area. Interpretive hiking trail winds past the Roswell Mill and along the banks of the creek. Mountain bikes prohibited.

Peachtree City has a nine-hole disc golf course nestled in the Village Green Park, near Highway 54. The course is mostly flat but also known to have a lot of trees and rolling hills. The multi-use path system also intersects the 7th hole.

Village Park at North Henry comprises 34 acres and is equipped with an event lawn, an interactive water feature, paved walking trails and many more amenities.

Honor those who have bravely served our country. The only one of its kind in Georgia, this memorial pays tribute to U.S. veterans through a walkway of nearly 8,000 bricks inscribed with the names of Georgians who have served.
